Operational

Employee or contractor must supply these in an email:

  • Personal Email
  • Personal Phone Number
  • Australian Bank Account with BSB & Account Number
  • GitHub Username
  • Discord Username
  • Google Account Email

Platforms​

Accounting​

Employee and contractor will be integrated into Matrix AI's accounting system. No action is needed on employee or contractor.

Employees will be integrated into QuickSuper clearing house: https://www.clearinghouse.australiansuper.com/. No action is needed on the employee.

tip

Soon a Xero account will be created which allow access to payslips and leave entitlements.

Laptop​

Employees and contractors may be issued a company laptop on a needs-basis. This will be configured with company-specific systems to ensure consistency with our workflows. The hostname must be configured uniquely and be prefixed with matrixai-.

Employees and contractors must take care of this equipment as it is company property and will be returned back or even rotated within the team.

Personal information is not recommended to be stored on the laptop, because the equipment may be monitored, and also regularly have its state recycled.

Keys​

Employees and contractors may be issued keys to premises on a needs-basis.

Zoho Email​

Zoho Email will be provided as firstname.lastname@matrix.ai. Password must be set by the user.

Toggl​

Invitation will be sent to Matrix AI email.

Your Toggl account will be assigned to Project team members. This will give you access to the relevant projects.

Time recordings must be done by dynamic or fixed workers.

The structure of time recordings must be:

  • Title: Topic - Subtopic
  • Project: Matrix AI or other assigned project
  • Tags: Choose appropriate tags such as Research and Development

Discord​

Invitation will be sent to Discord username. User will be assigned to an appropriate role.

GitHub​

Invitation will be sent to your GitHub username.

GitHub is the main system for managing our code repositories. It also act as our Identity Provider.

Google Calendar​

Invitation will bes sent to your Matrix AI email.

Linear​

Invitation to https://linear.app/matrix-ai will be sent to your Matrix AI email.

Users must perform a personal integration to their GitHub account: https://linear.app/matrix-ai/settings/account/profile

Tailscale​

Company issued laptop or other equipment will be connected to Tailscale.

Login to Tailscale via GitHub, and attempt to join matrixai.org.github.

Joining will require approval.

Polykey​

Company issued laptop or other equipment will be bootstrapped into Matrix AI's Polykey Enterprise network.
