Hiring
Hiring for Matrix AI involves using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
We used to use Breezy, but have since migrated to using Polymer.
Polymer allows the setup of a custom careers page. This is currently located at https://careers.matrix.ai/.
The configuration of careers.matrix.ai is done through our DNS provider
Cloudflare.
https://careers.matrix.ai/ is the main portal by which new applicants must apply through.
Roles need to be created on the Polymer ATS first. Note that the role description is not sufficient. There will be other information such as location, remuneration, benefits, extra requirements that has to be supplied by the hiring manager.

When candidates apply the process is:
- Lightly review the resume to consider viability.
- Send an appropriate takehome.
- Review the takehome.
- Schedule face to face interview.
- During interview provide final technical assignment (possibly done at home). Candidates must bring a laptop.
- When the final technical assignment is done, then conduct final pair review interview.
- Send offer and proceed to onboarding.
At any stage, an rejection message can be sent, except for stage 1, because we have no need to respond to all applications at stage 1.
